David Wick, Senior Pastor

Dr. Wick is a native Minnesotan. Raised in a Christian home, he came to Christ at Faith Baptist Church in north Minneapolis.
After sensing a call to the ministry while still in high school, he did his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota
and completed his Master of Divinity degree at North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD. He served North American
Baptist churches in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Detroit before coming to West Saint Paul in February of 2001. He has been active
in the missions work of the North American Baptist Conference in the areas of intercultural ministry and missions in Russia. In 1999,
he received the Doctor of Ministry degree from Bethel Theological Seminary. Pastor Dave and his wife Pat have one son, Jesse, and three grandchildren. Click on Dr. Wick's website.

Joel Detlefsen, Pastor of Christian Life and Growth

Pastor Joel is a native son of Riverview Baptist having been born into the church family in 1980. He worked as a volunteer
with the youth program for 6 years before joining the church staff. Joel graduated from Northwestern College with a degree in Ministry.
He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Christian education from birth through adult, excluding the youth program. Joel and his wife Betsy have a son and a new daughter. Click on Pastor Joel's website.

Lundon and Sarah Bond, Directors of Junior and Senior High Ministries

Sarah is a psychology major at Northwestern College and Lundon works for a
security services firm. The Bonds have known each other since their 6th grade
days at Central Minnesota Christian School and just recently welcomed Ethan
to their family. Lundon and Sarah previously worked as volunteers with the
youth program, including going on the recent missions trip to Boston. They have been directors of our youth program since 2007.

Harold Lang, Visitation Pastor

Pastor Lang was raised in a Christian home and made a commitment to Christ at an early age. He is also a graduate of North
American Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Marj served as church planters in the United States as well as missionaries in Cameroon and Nigeria, West
Africa. From 1983 to 2000, Harold served as the senior pastor of Riverview Baptist Church. Currently retired, he continues to volunteer as Riverview's
Visitation Pastor for the sick and homebound.

Cheryl Reeves, Choir Director

Cheryl Reeves was born and raised in Minneapolis and her parents remain there today. Her father is a minister and her
mother is a church organist. She has a 23-year old son who lives in Chicago, and a 2-year old grandson. Cheryl loves God, the church,
and singing. She was brought into our family in October of 2006 and is also Music Director of CitySongs, a U of M based arts and youth development program for kids in grades 4-8. Cheryl has a B.A. in Vocal Music Education from Bethel and a M.A. in Choral Music
from St. Thomas. She has taught vocal and classroom music in the Minneapolis and Moundsview school districts and the Breck School.
