What is Dinners for Eight?
Dinners for Eight is an opportunity for the people of Riverview to build relationships and get to know one another over a meal. We hope that Dinners for Eight will help build a strong community at Riverview.
How does it work?
Once every few months a group of eight people get together for a meal. Each group has a host who volunteers their home for the meal location. The host will provide the main dish and contact the other guests with suggestions of additional food items to bring to share, and to decide a date and time to have the meal. Groups will be randomly selected. The whole process is relatively easy, and fun. The first round of dinners will begin in February and March. Dinners will be held once each quarter.
What about kids?
Group members with children can decide together whether or not to include children or recruit childcare for their meal.
